  • Advising.

    Our executive advising helps you deliver on the strategic talent and people management priorities that drive business value. Unlike similar services (e.g., consulting), advising is about establishing a long-term partnership aimed at co-creating solutions. An effective advisor works to deeply understand your organization’s priorities, provides you with the most relevant research, tools, and best practices for your situation, and acts as a sounding board as your journey progresses. TrailHead’s functional expertise centers on people-centered management issues, including leadership development, culture, change management, collaborative (team-centric) work design, performance management, and people analytics.

  • Coaching.

    Leadership coaching is an intense one-on-one process that helps current or prospective leaders identify and overcome the obstacles, which are often quite personal, standing in the way of their professional growth. A leadership coach listens, asks questions, and provides a balance of challenge and support that enables sustainable, long-term growth. An effective coaching relationship is relatively long-term, built on mutual trust, and follows the agenda and desired pace of the leader more so than the coach. Although it may be appropriate to nominate or encourage someone to pursue leadership coaching, it is important that leaders enter the relationship on their own volition.

  • Education.

    We design management education programs for corporate audiences. Our programs vary based on your needs (e.g., knowledge/skill training versus discussion facilitation, half-day versus multi-day duration, virtual versus in-person), but everything we do is rooted in rigorous evidence-based principles, designed with careful pedagogical consideration, and delivered in an engaging way. Common programs center on leadership, group/team management, analytics, high growth HR strategies, and change management, though we can also develop custom programs. We also have rich experience facilitating discussions that can help your team surface ideas, find common ground, and develop action plans.
